In the following the term "Site" will be used when referring to the tusanga.com website including all its sub-domains, services, documentation, hardware and software. Please read the following Privacy Policy carefully through before using the Site.
Usage of the Site is subject to this Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you accept the Privacy Policy and you agree to ensure that anyone who uses the Site on your computer also accepts the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept to this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue your use of the Site.
Tusanga reserves the right to revise the Privacy Policy by updating this posting at any time without providing other notice to its users. Commitment to privacy
Tusanga is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information may voluntarily be provided by you but is not required by Tusanga in order to use the Site. Certain information including your name and your email address is required in order to become a member. As a member Tusanga may contact you by email with information on Tusanga or the Tusanga calculator, requests for feedback, notification of membership expiration, a new password and the like. Tusanga will not use your email address to promote third-party merchandise and services. Tusanga will not sell or rent your email address or any other personal information.
Recorded information
Tusanga claims no ownership over the expressions entered by the users. However, in order to further develop and improve Tusanga Calculator, the mathematical input entered by the users may at times be evaluated statistically in anonymous and aggregated form. In case of Site malfunctioning, relevant parts of entered user expressions may be recorded in order to help remedy the deficiencies.
The calculations are evaluated on a central server and not on the user's local hardware. The calculations are stored on the Tusanga server until the user deletes them. After they are deleted from the server, they may still exist in backups.
Tusanga's server records information when you use the Site. Among the recorded items are the webpage URL, user IP address, browser type, language, date and time. The Site does not use cookies.
Disclosure of information
No user data, including email address and mathematical input, will be disclosed to any third party unless required to do so by law or court order, you have violated the Terms of Use, you give us your permission, or the disclosure is permitted in this policy. If we believe that your use of the Site is unlawful or damaging to us or others, we reserve the right to disclose the information we have obtained about you through the Site to the extent that is reasonably necessary in our opinion to prevent, remedy or take action in relation to such conduct.
Tusanga may use subcontractors to operate parts of the Site. These subcontractors will have access to personal information and user data as needed in order to fulfill their tasks.
